All athletes must have current USAWP bronze level memberships or higher.

Year-Round Sessions

LOWPO is a year-round organization with sessions following the four seasons. Breaks align with the LOSD school calendar as well as post-Junior Olympics in August. The Fall Session is for 14U athletes as this is the High School water polo season.

Lake Oswego Water Polo Teams

High School

High school boys and girls teams focus on high level technical movements and strategy as well as strength training and conditioning. High school athletes learn the benefits of hard work, commitment, collaboration, and perseverance.

14U Competition

Competition teams learn advanced strategy and technique while building strength and endurance. Athletes at this stage learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience. Competition teams require a high level of commitment.

12U Competition

The 12U Competition group learns advanced skills while developing strength and stamina. Athletes at this level cultivate teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. Participation in this group requires a high commitment.  

14U Intermediate

Intermediate athletes advance foundational skills by building on water polo fundamentals, technical movements, and conditioning. This group will gain skills and strength while being supported by their teammates and coaches.

14U Developmental

Development athletes are both new and returning athletes who are building water polo fundamentals. Practices encourage foundational skills such as ball handling and conditioning in a positive training environment.

All Girls Practice

The All Girls practice is held once weekly. It is intended to provide our female athletes the opportunity to bond, make connections, and build camaraderie. This practice focuses on scrimmaging. It is open to all our registered athletes, or as a separate registration.
