Our Mission as a Non-Profit Organization
At LOWPO, our mission is to provide opportunities for youth to develop skills, build confidence, and learn teamwork through the sport of water polo. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations to keep our costs low, ensuring that more young athletes have access to the sport, regardless of financial barriers. Your support directly helps fund pool time, equipment, coaching, and tournament fees, making water polo accessible to all who wish to participate.
Together, we can continue growing youth water polo and shaping the next generation of athletes!
Fundraisers
We believe in community-driven fundraising to support our athletes and maintain affordable programs. Each year, we host a variety of fundraisers, including:
- The Swimathon: Athletes showcase their swimming skills and endurance to raise funds - and have a lot of fun doing it! This annual event takes place in the spring and is our largest fundraiser of the year.
- Special Events: From carwashes and auctions to dine-to-donate events and corporate partnerships, LOWPO not only raises funds but also brings the community together to celebrate our sport.

- Columbia Employee Store October 1-27 - shop at the Columbia Employee Store and 10% of your purchase will go directly to support LOWPO! This is a great chance to gear up while giving back to our water polo community. HERE is the flyer.
How to Donate
Want to support directly? Making donations to LOWPO is easy! Every contribution - big or small - helps us provide essential resources for our athletes. All donations are tax deductible, and we are happy to provide a receipt for your generous gift.
- Venmo: @LOWPOadmin, leave a note in the comments section indicating "Donation"
- Donate airline miles or hotel points: Provide travel for athletes who may not be able to travel without financial support
- Sponsor an Athlete: Anonymously provide financial aid for an athlete
