A Spectator's Guide to Water Polo by Peter W. Pappas, Ph.D. is an excellent read, especially for parents, who may find themselves trying to figure out just what is going on in the pool.
As the national governing body for water polo in America, USA Water Polo enforces FINA Water Polo Standards/Rules in its competitions. These rules may be downloaded or printed in handbook format by clicking here.
